Australian wife and Italian husband, Jessie and Otta established Coffetti Gelato in 2016. Located on Barwon Head’s main street, Coffetti Gelato has become far more than your average ice-cream shop.
Growing up in Bergamo, Otta developed a profound love for good food, wine and coffee. Over the years he has mastered the craft of authentic Italian gelato. Sourcing local ingredients, our gelato is made with REAL food. Peeling, squeezing, juicing, blending, roasting and everything else in between- our range of gelato & sorbets are made from fresh, honest produce. No preservatives, no colouring, no nasties. Only the good stuff.
Jessie grew up in Barwon Heads, often hitting the waves and taking after her father. Post studies, she took off to travel Europe where she met Otta. Whether Jess is on the churn, slinging your double shot latte or racing around Geelong because we’ve run out of paper bags, her warmth and relaxed attitude has become an integral part of the business.
Aside from gelato, Coffetti is also here to remedy all your caffeine needs. We use Industry Beans ‘Rose Street’ blend to serve up your morning cup of bliss. All of our baristas are highly trained so you’re guaranteed a beautiful brew. Bonsoy and Minor Figures Oat Milk as well as MilkLab Almond, Coco and Lactose Free alternatives available. Retail coffee (beans or ground) also available for purchase to kick your cravings from home.
